Food and Nutrition Links


If you are what you eat, you should know what you're actually eating. Often times when we think we are doing well diet/nutrition-wise, we can still miss the mark. However there are some great websites out there to provide ways of tracking your nutrition intake.

 My is favorite is Livestrong. On Livestrong you can create a free account and using My Plate, track all of your food intake. It breaks it down by calories, but also by fat, fiber, protein, sodium, etc. LOVE IT! The hardest part is being honest.

Is such a great website for breaking down food's nutritional components in a very nerdy fashion. Provides a different BMI break-down than Livestrong. Best to compare the two. Have fun!
